Rebekah Munson

Canvass Director, Chicago, IL

School: Chapman University, 2011

Staff since 2011.

Rebekah graduated from Chapman University in 2011 with a degree in Sociology and a minor in Music.  During college, she was extremely involved with progressive causes on campus as a founding member of Racial Activists for Common Equity and an active member in Safe Space, a program focused on creating safe spaces for members of the LGBTQ community.  Rebekah applied for a directing position with the Fund during her senior year in college because she wanted to work with an organization that actively worked toward social change.  After training in our Albuquerque, NM, Rebekah became the Canvass Director in charge of our Chicago office.  She and her staff are working on the Fund’s campaign with the Human Rights Campaign to end employment discrimination against GLBT Americans.
